I have created a website that might be helpful for teachers in this group. The website allows teachers to create interactive review games for students. Check out http://www.bubbabrain.com to better understand the concept. We have great sections that deal with 9th and 10th grade World History. The section on U.S. history has at least 30 games post under 11th grade. The website is FREE

EDSITEment is a free, high quality educational resource from the National Endowment for the Humanities. We provide lesson plans, student interactives, and reviewed websites in four humanties areas. We are especially strong in U.S. History and Government as well as American Literature, Art and Culture.
We have 24 lessons for Constitution Day.
Please take a look and if you have suggestions or comments post here or contact me at jphelan@neh.gov

I teach American History, Government, and Civics to immigrant adults. Our curriculum is based on teaching themes--specifically, the values in American history that are still relevant today. We also teach history using a theme which shows how historical events have shaped current day life. For example, how the U.S. came to acquire Guantanamo Bay in Cuba as a result of the Spanish American War, how the containment policies of Eisenhower have influenced American defense strategies today including the U.S. response to the War on Terrorism. I also use Klinger and Nalbandian's ideas on competing values when teaching the relevance of the Bill of Rights (civil rights versus security needs of the country). Incidentally, we also teach a series on how to use this curriculum called "Teaching Citizenship Content." http://web.extension.uiuc.edu/cook/immigrants.html
