Experiences teaching controversies over the rights of gay or undocumented students when they are in the room?
I am wondering if anyone has an experience that they'd be willing to share--either here in the discussion forum or off-line--about when you tried to teach controversies over the rights of a particular class of people when members of that class were in the classroom.
