She's explaining how to research a topic -- say, healthcare -- and then create one's own C-Span video clips (a handy feature) via their Library Archive. This interdisciplinary creative writing/historical simulation activity calls on students to research the plight of homeless teenagers during the Great Depression and then create their own fictionalized account of a day in the life of a Hobo.
